This week’s theme is Masculine Cards, and I couldn’t resist creating another ocean-inspired design.

This card features the brand new Rolling Waves set (available March 3 | #167145). I absolutely love the color combination of Pool Party and Basic Beige — calm, classic, and perfect for masculine cards.

When I’m designing for guys, I usually stay away from pink and don’t use too much bling… but that’s about it. Guys like flowers too, right? 😉 And honestly, I’m pretty sure my girlfriends would love this card just as much!

The dies in this set add incredible texture and movement, really bringing those waves to life.

Be sure to notice the gorgeous shimmery paper at the top of the card — that’s Pastels Shimmer 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper. It comes in Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, and Pool Party, and adds just the right amount of shine without overpowering the design.
