Stenciling Technique Challenge #SSINKTC40

Cheryl · December 26, 2016 · Leave a Comment

Today we have a fun challenge for you to try… Masking or Stenciling!

I made a stencil by cutting out a tree using Perfect Pines Framelits Dies.  Using sponge daubers, I sponged the tree with Old Olive & Pear Pizzazz.  Decided it needed more color, so I reached for Rose Red.  That’s one of those colors I forget about…but I just love it!

Isn’t that fun?!!  I sponged the tree on This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper.

The star is punched from Blossom Punch.  I thought it would be cute with a bird, because of the music notes!

The bird was part of the Tree Builder Punch.

Which one do you like best?  The star or the bird?

I’m soooooo behind!  Ha!  I’m afraid my friends are getting New Year’s Cards this year.  But it’s all good.  I’m just stretching out the fun.

It was fun to take a break this morning & make this card.  I can’t wait to see what the other Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Team has made for this challenge!  CLICK HERE to see more ideas!
