Aloha Stampers!
Today’s project is created with the Waves of Inspiration stamp set using some pretty blues.
I’ve used Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut an opening in the card front, then glued the wave between the card base and the frame. I got this awesome idea from Kate Morgan from Australia. One thing she did was to cut a strip of cardstock and slip it in the slots on that die where the sentiment is stamped. Love how that looks!
The wave on the inside is stamped using Orchid Oasis and before stamping, I’ve used a Sponge Dauber to add some Pacific Point to the stamp. Can you see it?
Here are the dimensions for this card:
- Starry Sky: 11 x 4 1/4, scored at 5 1/2 and 3 1/2 x <3/4
- Basic White: 5 1/4 X 4 and scraps
- Orchid Oasis 5 1/2 x 4 and 4 x 1/4
Tips: Cut out the frame using the rectangle stitched die one at a time. It doesn’t work as well to cut out two at a time. Cut white wave ~1/4″ away from edges before gluing frame on top.
